CULINARY GEMS OF BYZANTIUM DINNER
The Byzantines made baklava called kopton, invented marzipan, started to use saffron outside of the medical field and invented the samovar for tea brewing as well as the fork, even though their version had 5 spindles. They were the first to lay down rosemary together with the lamb in a skillet
